Barebones 2010 Long (09/07/2010)

What a bizarre situation - over 30 degrees down in the village of Whistler (beach overcrowded, but you still meet people walking like astronauts in boots with snowboards and skis close to the gondola ) but Monday's mountain middle is cancelled because of persistent snow... (Whistler is 650 meters above sea level, mountain's race area about 1700).
Anyway, the race was maybe more physically demanding than the desert courses in the US. Plus big hills on top. I didn't managed the heat and simply died after the map exchange. 2 minutes mistake at control 13 right before was just the first sign. The rest of the race was a fight to get back to the finish area... :-) Finished 4th.
